A friend of my son was getting married, who happened to live in Montana. They were needing a wedding cake and wasn't sure where to go. My son recommended, "ME." When I got the call from his friend, him and his bride were wanting a 3 tiered, red roses, nothing fancy for their wedding cake. I immediately thought of a cake I had done previously. I asked him if he had a camera on his cell phone? He said he did. So I proceeded to take a picture of a picture with my cell phone and sent it to him. They called back, said it was exactly what they were wanting. They placed their order. Seems simple enough, but let me tell you- preparing anyone wedding cake is certainly "no cake walk." It is so incredibly important to pay attention to details. The anxiety and sometimes "lack of breathing" can certainly take its toll, not to mention what it takes to transport a wedding cake.. To be perfectly honest, for every wedding cake I have had the privileged of being a part of, has truly been an honor. See for yourself the attached picture.

The wedding cake is beautiful. Isn't it amazing how business can be conducted over a cell phone and how you had the foresight to think of taking a photo of a photo so that you could show one of your cakes to a future client. Now that takes the cake!!
